What exactly does SPHRAGIO FOKUS check?

Does SPHRAGIO write or change my text?
No. Format only. Never content. No ghostwriting, no text generation, no editing of your content. Your text stays yours, word for word – we only mark what deviates formally from the requirements. What you do with that is up to you.
Which citation styles are supported?
FOKUS handles 15 citation styles, including APA 7, Harvard, IEEE, Chicago and MLA, as well as university-specific variants from the DACH region. You select the style at upload and the check follows it.
How long does a check take?

Zero text retention: your text is not stored. Processing, database and object storage run entirely on infrastructure inside the EU.
Does FOKUS replace proofreading?
No – and it isn’t meant to. A proofreader or editor assesses language, argument and content, all things a human has to judge. FOKUS takes the part that can be checked objectively against rules: the formal requirements. The two don’t exclude each other.
